Food Shelf Service Project

From: Mr. Johnson, Scoutmaster - 899-3043

The Food Shelf that services Jericho, Underhill and Essex operates year-round. Boy Scout Troop 627 is one of several organizations that helps each and every month to ensure that the distribution of needed goods goes smoothly and efficiently. Assistance from both adult and youth members of Troop 627 is vital to the operating of the Food Shelf.

The Food Shelf operates typically on the 3rd Saturday of every month, from 9:00 AM to appx 10:30 AM. The Food Shelf is located at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Route 15, Jericho. (The church is located across the street from Clark's Truck Stop, near the intersection of Browns Trace Road and Route 15.)

Please print and return the following form to Mr Johnson. Be sure to check which date(s) you can help at the Food Shelf. Be sure to also mark your dates somewhere on you calendar at home... maybe even on your kitchen refrigerator... to help remind you of your work dates.

Your time worked at the Food Shelf is recorded and applies to the service time requirements for rank advancement.
